Man from Hamilton, Ohio, Sentenced to 10 Years for Ponzi Scheme
In yet another Ponzi Scheme costing elderly and unsophisticated victims their hard-earned money, James Powell, from Hamilton, Ohio, was sentenced yesterday to more than 10 years in prison. According to federal authorities, the 53-year-old man stole more than $9 million from nearly 100 victims in three states over a five-year period.
